a Colourful Heritage at Diamant Estate
I have known both Wilmie & Jaco since childhood as we are all orginally from a beautiful town called Upington. So naturally I was very excited when they started dating and then later that I could be part of their wedding preparations. Wilmie had a very clear idea of what she wanted for the wedding decor and had sourced a lot of images of floral designs that she liked. The idea was to keep the decor stylish and little nostalgic and then to have losts of fun with bright, happy, colourful blooms. The venue is such a classic old lady with beautiful patina on the old cellar walls from years of wine making and years of heritage whispering from the old wooden beams. We chose the tall gold candelabra and lace runners to compliment the setting and added wild, colourful blooms that looked like they wanted to jump out of the vases and join the party. In fact on the main table the flowers ran off the edges on either side of the table.
What a joy to have been part of this special couple’s day and to party with them at their wedding till dawn.
We wish you many years of love and happiness together.
